Blue is not my color!

Last night I was getting the twins ready for bed when I realized Hanna had no clean pajamas in her drawer. I asked Chandler to run downstairs to get me some pajamas for Hanna out of the clean clothes basket. He did but came back with a pair of Dylan's pajamas. I said, "Chan, those are Dylan's but it's ok, I'll just put them on her for tonight!" So I laid her down, put them on, zipped them up and stood her up. She looked down at herself and starting laughing and with a very silly smile said, "DeeDee..." She was still laughing at herself as I put them to bed. Here is a picture of them at breakfast this morning. When I brought them downstairs this morning, Heath was upset with me for putting blue on Hanna. He said, "Hanna no wear blue! Hanna wear pink Mommy!"

Our friend Tanner's first birthday party

My dad made Tanner a shelf for his first birthday. It was very special because my dad is making all the grand kids something this year for each of their birthday and he's kinda adopted Tanner and Maddie into the family. :)
Tanner's individual smash cake was a star with a little boot candle. Amy was showing Tanner his cake and moving it towards Maddie to have her help blow out the candle when Tanner grabbed the candle (still lite) and put it out. But he burned his poor little hand. After some tears and cold water, he enjoyed his cake.

Mommy feeding the twins cake and ice cream
Dylan - BIG bite (look closely at that mouth!)
Hanna little birdy too!

All four of our children are afraid of animals but Heath was fine with them in this cage! Rocky and Amy's dogs were put up for the party and Heath was looking at them. I tried to get him to put his finger in and pet them but he looked at me like I was crazy and said "No Mommy!?!"
OOPS... I added this one twice and don't know how to take it off...

Sweet sleeping baby boy

I went to check on the kids before I went to bed, as I always do, and this is how Dylan was laying. So, of course, I called to Matt to bring me the camera! Heath sleeps with his hands behind his head like this too! But the foot propped up on the crib rail was just the cutest! Dylan usually sleeps on his tummy, sucking his left thumb with his right hand up by his face so this was a little out of the ordinary for him.

First pool trip of the summer

Today was our first trip to the pool this year. The babies did not like it at all for the first half of our swim. After I put them in their floats they liked it a little better but were still scared. The boys, of course, loved every minute of it! We were there 2 hours and the boys did not want to leave but the babies were ready! We had a very nice time.
Hanna was a bit uneasy at first
Enjoying it a little more...
Heath liked to push the twins around in their floats. Dylan has a mouth full of apple in this picture.
The twins took a time out for a snack.

Dylan not too sure either...
DeeDee oh so tired!!

Muddy, Muddy kids!

Hanna got a little muddy but not like Dylan! Her hair was in a straggly ponytail from naptime and the humidity got it and curled it all up! Those are ringlets in front! Just like Mommy!

Dylan got muddy from head to toe for the first time!! Look at his shorts!!

Doesn't he look like Chandler and Heath in this picture?!?!

DeeDee very muddy face!!

Dylan saying "ROAR" at me! He likes to play dinosaur and roar and tackle me.

Dylan and Hanna fight over lots of things but cups are the main thing! They always want the other one's cups! Then the other one screams!!
Heathy putting on his sandles - after his feet were all muddy...
Chandler has to bring his golf clubs in every night.
Muddy girl!
Hanna found something under the chair that interested her.
It rained ALOT today so our backyard was muddy. The kids were dying to go play so I thought, "Well, maybe they won't get too muddy..." Dylan actually got into the grass and got wet and muddy! And if you know him, that is very unusual! They had a great time. And tonight turned into bath night after all... :)

Ms. Joy and Chandler

Dylan enjoyed cake also!!
Chandler's graduation went very well! They sang two songs, got their diplomas, had a photo slideshow and had a reception with cake and punch. Chandler was so excited and proud of himself. Daddy flew in on Saturday so he could stay until Tuesday. Mawmaw and Pawpaw (Mary and Mike) came on Monday night after work and stayed through Tuesday afternoon. Ms. Joy met us at the ceremony. The babies were very good and enjoyed seeing their brother at school. Heath stayed in his class the whole time, that's why he isn't in any pictures. We went to say HI to him in his class before going home. It was a great, memorable time for us all! Now our little darlin' is ready for Kindergarten! :(
