Maddie's Birthday Party

Our friends, Rocky and Amy's little girl, Maddie turns 4 in December and her birthday party was Saturday. It was a girls only party so Hanna and I got to go by ourselves! She was SOOO excited to get to go by herself! As we were leaving she was waving and saying, "Bye, DeeDee!" "Bye, Bubba!"
Even though she was excited, in the middle of the party she asked me, "Where DeeDee?"
Maddie had a Strawberry Shortcake Birthday Party. Amy had a lady come to the house to make Strawberry Shortcake dolls! (like build-a-bear!)

Happy Halloween! 2008

We had "Trunk or Treat" at our church on Halloween Night. Trunk or Treat is where people sign up to give out candy out of their car trunks in the parking lot. Everyone dresses themselves and their cars up too. We found out on Sunday that there were about 2,000 people there! The kids had fun in the bounce houses, pony rides, popcorn, snow cones, kool-aid and candy, of course!!

When we got home, we let the kids pick two pieces of candy to eat before bedtime. We all sat around the table and had our candy. We HAD to give baths because Hanna and Dylan had been sneaking candy all night and were sticky from head to toe!!!
Hanna stole a few more than 2 pieces! :)
